Privacy Policy

This policy describes what actually happens on prosperityclub.com. It is short because this website collects almost nothing.

The short version

• No cookies. This site sets no cookies of any kind.
• No analytics or tracking. No Google Analytics, no pixels, no fingerprinting, no advertising networks. The only exception is an optional “Help improve this site” switch that is off unless you turn it on, sends only anonymous usage counts (which pages you view, rough click spots, and how far you scroll) to our own server, and is described in full below.
• No accounts, no forms. The site has nothing that collects your name, email, or any personal details.
• The needs analysis runs entirely on your device. Your answers are never transmitted, stored, or seen by us, they exist only on your screen, and disappear when you leave the page.

Theme preference

If you use the light/dark theme toggle, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device so the site remembers it next visit. That value never leaves your device on its own (the one exception: if you turn on the optional “Help improve this site” switch described below, your light or dark choice is included in its anonymous counts). You can clear it any time through your browser settings.

Server logs

Like virtually every website, our web server keeps standard access logs (the IP address, browser type, page requested, the page that linked you here if your browser reports it, and the time of each request). We use them only to keep the site secure and working and to produce aggregate, non-identifying traffic statistics (for example, “how many people read this article this week”), never to profile individual visitors. They are not shared or sold, and logs roll over automatically as they grow so old entries are discarded.

When you contact us

The contact options on this site (call, text, email) use your own phone and email apps. If you reach out, we receive whatever you choose to send and use it to respond to you. We do not sell or share it, and we do not add you to marketing lists. If you later want anything you sent deleted, ask: deborah@prosperityclub.com.

If you text us your needs-analysis results

The “text Deborah your results” button prepares a message in your messaging app. Nothing is sent until you press send, and only what you see in the message is sent.

Links to other websites

Blog posts and resource pages link to outside organizations. Once you leave this site, their privacy practices apply, not ours. We link only to organizations we consider reputable, but we can’t control what they do.

Children

This site is financial education for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone, children included.

Insurance conversations

If you become a client, the information you share for quotes or applications is handled through the licensed carriers and partner organizations involved (such as Experior Financial Group, First Connect, or LegalShield) under their privacy practices and applicable insurance regulations, not through this website.

Optional anonymous usage counts (off by default)

The site has an optional “Help improve this site” switch. Unless BOTH of the following are true, nothing described here is collected at all: (1) we have turned the feature on site-wide, and (2) you have turned the switch on in the site footer. If both are on, your browser sends us a count for each page you view: the page’s address on this site, a coarse screen-size bucket (small, medium, or large), your light-or-dark theme choice, and, if you arrived from another website, that site’s domain. So we can see which parts of a page people actually use, the switch also sends where on the page clicks or taps land (as rough percentages of the page, on a coarse grid, never precise positions) and how far down the page you scrolled (in quarters: 25%, 50%, 75%, or all the way). That is the entire list. No cookies are set (your choice is stored on your own device, like the theme preference), no identifiers are created, nothing identifies you personally, and nothing is shared with any third party. The counts go only to this site’s own server and are used only to see which pages help people. Turn the switch off at any time and the sending stops immediately.

Changes to this policy

If our practices ever change (for example, if we add a contact form), this page will change first, with a new effective date, before any new collection begins.
